Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of nutritionpathwaybook.site and any consultation booked through it. By using the site or submitting a booking request, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Using this website

What the site is for, what it is not, and where your own circumstances decide the answer.

About the service

About the service

This website provides information about nutrition consultations and a means to request an appointment with a registered nutritionist. The content on this site is general information. It is not medical advice and does not replace assessment or treatment by a qualified medical professional.

Reading a guide, comparing support areas, or sending a booking request through the site does not mean a nutritionist has reviewed your case. Anything you read here — on weight management, digestive comfort, energy levels, or family nutrition — describes common approaches, not a plan written for you. Decisions about your own diet belong with a professional who has your full history in front of them.

No doctor-patient relationship

No doctor-patient relationship

Submitting a booking request or reading content on this site does not create a clinical relationship. A professional relationship begins only when an appointment is confirmed and held. For any medical concern, including symptoms requiring diagnosis or urgent care, contact your GP or NHS 111.

  • A request submitted at the weekend is not an accepted appointment until the practice confirms it.
  • Nutrition guidance supports a treatment plan — it does not replace one set by your GP or specialist.
  • If you feel unwell between appointments, speak to your GP rather than waiting for your next session.

Booking terms

Booking, payment, cancellations and refunds

How a booking request turns into a confirmed appointment, when money changes hands, and what happens if plans move on either side.

Booking and payment

Appointment requests are subject to confirmation by the practice. Prices shown on the site apply at the time of booking. Payment is by bank transfer after confirmation or by card at the start of the appointment. Card details are not collected through this website.

You will receive a written confirmation with the agreed time, format, and the amount due before anything is paid.

Cancellations and refunds

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice are moved at no charge. Later cancellations may be charged. If the practice cancels an appointment and no alternative time is suitable, any payment made for that appointment is refunded in full.

Notice is counted from the confirmed appointment time, in UK time, and should be sent to the practice email or phone number.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information when booking, including relevant medical conditions and medication. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, or submit false or misleading booking requests.

Medication, allergies, recent blood results and pregnancy are all relevant — leaving them out can make a plan unfit for you.

Intellectual property

What you may do with the material here

Text, plans, and materials provided through this site are the property of the practice or its licensors. You may use written plans for your own personal purposes. You may not republish, resell, or distribute them without written permission.

  • Keep a copy of your own plan, print it, or share it with your GP as part of your care.
  • Quote a short passage with a link back to the page it came from.
  • Repost full guides or plan templates on another site, in a newsletter, or in paid material.

Limitation of liability

Limits on what we can be held responsible for

The practice provides information and consultation services in good faith. To the extent permitted by law, the practice is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Indirect losses include things such as lost earnings, missed opportunities, or costs unrelated to the consultation itself. Direct losses connected to a service you paid for are handled separately and are not excluded.

Practical notes

Where your plan lives
Plans and notes are sent to you directly. They are written for your own use, not for resale or publication.
Quoting our content
Short quotes for a blog or a student assignment are fine when the source is credited and the link points to the original page.
Permission requests
Ask in writing before any commercial use. Requests are handled by email and usually answered within a few working days.

Updates and law

Changes and governing law

Two clauses that answer most of the questions people email us about terms: how updates work, and which courts decide a dispute.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with an effective date shown at the top. Continued use of the site after changes indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

Substantive changes — anything that affects booking, payment, or your responsibilities — are reflected in the terms a visitor reads before making a request, so the version that applies to you is the one published when you book.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This applies whether you booked from elsewhere in the UK or from abroad.

If a clause in these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the remaining clauses still stand. That keeps the rest of the agreement intact rather than setting the whole document aside.

Common questions

Questions about these terms

Does sending a booking request mean I am a patient?

No. A request is an enquiry until the practice confirms a time and that appointment is held. Until then, no clinical relationship and no duty of care exists between you and the practice.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Bank transfer once the appointment is confirmed, or card at the start of the appointment itself. Card details are never collected through this website, so nothing is stored here after you leave the page.

What happens if I cancel late?

Cancelling with at least 24 hours' notice costs nothing and the appointment is moved. Cancelling later may be charged, because the slot was held for you and other people were turned away from it. If the practice needs to cancel and no other time suits you, any payment for that appointment is refunded in full.

Can I share my nutrition plan with my GP?

Yes, and it often helps. Sharing a plan with your GP or another clinician is personal use. Republishing it publicly, or using it commercially, is what needs written permission first.

How do I ask about something not covered here?

Email [email protected] or call +44 117 927 6380 between Monday and Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, or Saturday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. For anything about your health or symptoms rather than these terms, contact your GP or NHS 111.

Still unsure about something

Ask the practice before you book

Questions about terms, what a consultation includes, or how online sessions work are welcome before you commit to anything. The practice is at 68 Queen Square, Harbourside, Bristol, BS1 4NZ, and answers email Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
